My top 10 lessons learned in 2020

Lesson 9

Night sweats. Mood swings. Insomnia. Hot flushes. Weight gain. Headaches. Depression. Anxiety. Dry Skin. Vaginal Atrophy . . . I could go on.

It’s a sad list, isn’t it? Yet these are just a few of the often times debilitating side-effects of peri-menopause and menopause.

You would hope that a list of such symptoms in women in their 40s and 50s would be enough to at least pique a doctor’s interest and encourage them to find a solution.

But unfortunately that is not the case. Instead women are being met with ignorance and even sexism by the people who they regard as medical professionals including Medical doctors, Functional MD's, Nutrition Coaches and even Hormone "experts"!

The number of postmenopausal women has only risen over time. Statistics show that in the year 1998, only 477 million postmenopausal women were present in the world however, this number is expected to rise to around 1.1 billion by 2025.

Estrogen at one time was the #1 prescribed medicine in North America. Helping women all around the world sail through their menopausal years. Then something changed and the world became misinformed and unjustifiably scared of hormone replacement.

In this episode I carefully go over the study that ruined millions of women's lives. How we have been mislead into believing from our highly respected health practitioners that estrogen and hormone replacement therapy is bad. Why it is of the utmost importance that women educate themselves on this and help me to spread the word so women do not have to suffer needlessly.
